DR WILLIAM CHONG

Dr. William Chong graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1985 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and distinction in the fields of Operative Dentistry, Medicine and Oral Surgery.  He was also awarded the Malaysian Dental Association Medal, the Singapore Dental Association President’s Medal and the University Bronze Medal. He obtained his Master of Dental Science from the National University of Singapore, his research field being Bone Regeneration and Dental Implants. He also qualified as Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1999.

In 2004, as part of his fundamental belief of the need for every able person to contribute  meaningfully to society, Dr. Chong purpose-built two Nursing Homes, offering round the clock residential care for the elderly sick. Additionally, in 2014, he established nine Senior Activity Centres, throughout Singapore to provide a safe and welcoming environment for the elderly to gather and engage in activities, enabling them to remain physically fit, mentally active and socially connected. The services has since been expanded to provide a more comprehensive approach to enable Active Ageing.

In 2019, Dr Chong established Precious Medical Centre which offers a one-stop solution including specialist healthcare, comprehensive diagnostic imaging services and also a day surgery centre with operating theatres for general anaesthesia and endoscopy.

In 2023, Precious Group expanded our efforts to provide the best possible care for our patients and the community. We are grateful for the support of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim of Johor, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and look forwards to providing similar services in Johor. Today, Dr. Chong continues to lead with passion and support the causes closest to his heart - the advancement of health, the enrichment of lives of the elderly and support for those in need
